The days, the years, the centuries..

From the Olmec civilization (1500 BC- 400 AD) the Sacred Calendar has been the regulator of days, years and centuries. More than a divinatory stone, the calendar comprises history, astronomy, mythology. As if in this circle all the culture of this land is told in shapes and symbols.

Narrated by the Canadian Poet Terrance Cox and Glenys McQueen (dramasound co-director)

Divided in 20 days with their respective symbols (Monkey, Eagle, Jaguar, Snake etc.), and their respective number (1 to 13), the 20 days month goes around and around for centuries in years of 260 days, centuries of 52 years and cycles of thousands of years.
